If your GAMR Play Pad doesn’t appear in the list of available Bluetooth devices on your Android TV, here are a few things you can check.
Step 1: Make sure your Play Pad is in pairing mode
- Press and hold the Power button on the headboard of your GAMR Play Pad.
- Confirm that the GAMR "G" logo is blinking.
- A blinking "G" logo means pairing mode is active and your Play Pad is discoverable.
Step 2: Forget the Play Pad on any other device
Your Play Pad can only be connected to one device at a time. If it is still connected to a phone, laptop or tablet, your TV will not see it.
- On that device, open Bluetooth settings.
- Select Gamr<mac address> in the list of devices.
- Tap Forget This Device.
- Confirm by tapping Forget Device.
Step 3: Move your Play Pad closer to the TV
- Keep your GAMR Play Pad closer to your Android TV.
- Keeping the two closer together during pairing gives a stronger Bluetooth signal.
Step 4: Close and reopen the menu
If you still don’t see your Play Pad in the list:
- Close the Quick Settings menu on your Android TV.
- Open it again.
- Select Bluetooth Devices.
Step 5: Scan and pair your Play Pad
- Wait while the TV shows "Scanning for Bluetooth devices in pairing mode…"
- Look for Gamr<mac address> under Available Devices, shown with the status Needs pairing.
- Select Gamr<mac address>.
- Select Pair and connect.
- Wait a few seconds while the TV shows "Connecting to Gamr<mac address>…"
Step 6: Confirm the connection
- Your Play Pad appears under Paired Devices with the status Connected.
- The blinking "G" logo turns into a steady glow on your GAMR Play Pad.
